Built on a legacy.
Three Generations in the Making
The Parker Family
For over 60 years, the Parker family has been handcrafting furniture in North Carolina. As one of the few families still operating their own facilities, we—including every one of the craftspeople we employ—are proud to uphold this legacy of quality. We put our home and heritage into every piece we make because we see each customer as a new chapter in the story that connects our history with their future.
Crafted with Integrity
Mantle is upholding our heritage of exacting standards in every stitch, staple, cut, and joint. These time-honored processes are seen as luxuries in the age of fast fashion, but we don't think of integrity as a business decision – there’s simply no other way. We strive for a standard of quality that's worthy of life's moments, where every detail is refined to enhance the everyday.
Our Home to Yours
Every piece of Mantle furniture is crafted and customized by our own Mantle Makers in the Carolina Piedmont, an area with a storied legacy of furniture making dating back to the 1850s.
“The Carolina Piedmont is the epicenter of the premium furniture industry, and we’re proud to have been a part of that legacy for three generations.”

$$$$Quality Materials & Construction
The Carolina Piedmont has been known for its quality furniture making since the 1850s. As third-generation makers, Mantle is proud to continue this tradition of making furniture the right way for real people.
We don’t cut corners because we believe every detail is vital to the integrity, longevity, and enjoyment of our furniture.
Mantle is one of the few furniture makers that still constructs sofas using 8-way hand-tied springs, and we’re the only ones bringing this level of craftsmanship directly to consumers. Considered the gold standard for sofa construction, connecting the coils in every direction creates the perfect balance of support, comfort, and long-lasting durability. It takes craftspeople years to perfect this skill, but it adds years of life to each piece.
We've distilled years of knowledge, experimentation, and customer feedback into choosing the perfect balance of premium cushion options. For seat cushions, we use a plush foam wrapped in soft fiber to achieve sink-in-able comfort that still holds its shape. For back cushions, we go with an all-fiber fill for the right blend of softness and support.
Mantle has more than sixty fabric and leather upholstery options, each chosen not only for beauty and texture, but for comfort and durability as well. Every material we offer meets our exacting standards for softness paired with abrasion-resistance and minimal pilling. Most are pet- and family-friendly, easy-to-clean, and designed to look great for years.
Despite being hidden, the stability and durability of any piece of furniture start with the quality of the frame. That's why Mantle takes care to craft every piece with a strong foundation. Frames are precision-cut from domestically and sustainably sourced premium engineered hardwood. They're corner-blocked with reinforced joints for durability and carefully inspected prior to upholstery for accuracy.
